• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I got my capsules for my SN! Gonna fill them tonight and then probably take them tomorrow night. Also, by the grace of God, my med manager had an opening today and I was able to get her to prescribe me some Quetiapine (antiemetic). Perfect timing lol. I got one script of 200mg and one of 25mg. I asked for benzos also but she wouldn't do it as she said that the Quetiapine can help with anxiety, along with being a sleep aid as well. So essentially my question is, how much Quetiapine should I take the night I attempt to CTB? I got enteric capsules, so the SN will be deposited in the intestine and not the stomach, so I feel like I shouldn't have much of a problem with vomiting/nausea. But I still want to err on the side of caution. Also feel like the Quetiapine will help with the SI/anxiety and help me fall asleep while the SN works it's magic. so yeah how much Quetiapine should I take?

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like it would help unless you have been taking it regularly according to the thread here

I would like to add a few more threads that might be of some solace ( ofc if you haven't read it already. )

But have you been taking it regularly? It's not just about using it before, you need to be using it for a long period of time.

"Once again, note that this will not work if taken as a single or once-off dosage. You need to be taking quetiapine at a dosage of 300mg or more for a long enough period for the medication to build up these levels. If you are already taking 300mg or higher on the direction of your doctor, then you are in luck and do not need to do anything further."

The other issue that it also states in that guide is that you can't build up to that level either, because you should not be using a prescribed drug that you really don't need to use, and it will create side effects that it only make it worse.

"You may choose to obtain the drug and to gradually increase your dosage until it reaches 300mg. See titration diagram below. You may choose to legitimately obtain it from a doctor following the suggestions in situation 2 above. However, it is strongly not recommended to take any medication which has not been specifically prescribed for you. All medications have side effects and interactions with other drugs, and these are best determined by a doctor. If you have neither quetiapine nor traditional antiemetic drugs, it is safer and easier to obtain and take a single dose of an antiemetic than to start taking quetiapine without guidance from a doctor."

Thank you. I'm gonna start taking some tonight at 400mg, hopefully that can give me a little bit of headstart but I guess we'll see. Even if it is not effective as an antiemetic, hopefully it can help in the areas of SI/anxiety and getting me to sleep

I've been prescribed it before, as I am bipolar. It's been a while since I have taken it reguarly though

It's unfortunate that it seems that I need to be taking it for a couple weeks to receive the antiemetic effects, but I feel like some would be better versus none at all. And as I stated before, hopefully I won't even need an AE as the SN will be in my small intestine. Mostly gonna use the Q for it's sedating effects at this point

I also have Dramamine, Pepto-Bizmol and Emetrol...so maybe those will help with the nausea
