I read in Stans guide and saw this was mentioned that it could be used instead of other antiemetics, does anyone know how many mg of it i should use? i am a male 70 kg
I'm not sure exact dosage, but because of how sedating it is, definitely make sure you don't take so much that you end up not being able to take the SN. I think antiemetic effects happen at regular doses? Because obviously if it were used as an antiemetic and not an antipsychotic, patients wouldn't be given an overdose to get that effect... But I could be off on that, I'm just thinking.
I would not recommend Quetiapine myself because we require a different dosage.
For some people even 400-500 mg a day may be okay, some need a small dose.
Usually it works as an antiemetic after 300 mg+ a day, but you will need to reach that does in 1-2 weeks.
So if you are currently not taking Q, it will be not an easy path to walk.
