Since hanging is the easiest way I have to CTB, I need to know some things (sorry if this thread was already made)

These are my questions:
Is hanging a lot painful?
Can hanging break the neck as it says?
Does hanging works by blocking the airway and blood flow to the brain?
What could be the physical damage if I survived?
What kind of rope would be the perfect option?
