Question for pro-lifers

I've heard that from pro-lifers a couple of times : "You are selfish to do this without thinking about those around you. " ...Well, you're right...sort of. I'm selfish thinking that this way I could get rid of all the torment that has been grinding me all my life, and by doing this I could cause pain to those around me ?...but you will forget in time...I'm selfish because I just don't wanna live daily the same ordeal and the same torment anymore ?

If I sit well and think, aren't you even more selfish trying to convince me to lead such a life just for your comfort?

And no, such a decision certainly does not mean cowardice. You have no idea how much courage you need to do something like that. We are afraid...at least for me. You can only imagine the feelings that grind us in every moment of our existence, but you will never fully understand them. Why? It's very simple...you can't understand a feeling you've never experienced.

So again I have to ask you ... if it is more comfortable for you to know us suffering but to be alive....aren't you even more selfish than us?

Classic hypocrisy and hypocrisy abound. And that position about suicide as cowardice is the funniest. Defeating SI and carrying out something like CTB to the end is a heroic act that requires enormous willpower, courage and determination despite all the pressures of the environment, religious dogmas, prejudiced opinions, passive-aggressive codes of civilization and so on. Those of the prolifers who do not believe in this should try and let us know if it is cowardice or courage.

Yes it takes immense courage.
The fear is always there, and fear can lead to inaction.
Courage is still doing it, even when you're afraid of it.

If they could experience firsthand the full range of misery and suffering (physical and mental) that a suicide goes through, they would keep their mouths shut.

These people don't see "beyond their own noses", and they think they have the right to judge.

Some problems are not solved by going to therapy, or sunbathing, or eating healthy, or doing any of those spiritual activities, or being part of some cult, etc. Or any crazy thing they propose..

A selfish person is someone who doesn't care about seeing you in complete despair as long as you stay alive. They don't even try to help you, they just blame you for being that way.

If they watched a video of each 'method' I don't think they would dare to use the word: coward again.

The reply will gonna be something like "why to do that ?" or "I don't have any reason to try it" ...but yes ... only then will they be able to experience this feeling ... only when they feel what it's like to have the rope tighten around your neck ... only then will they be able to know how much courage you need to take another step ...

Those replies are used to hide the truth, their fear. They will never experience what we do, they will do everything they can to look the other way, to pretend, they will lie to themselves saying that everything is perfect. Maybe this is why they hate us so much, because we remind them that something is seriously wtong with this existence, their existence as well.

There's no use trying to convince pro lifers of that since unfortunately they're just too indoctrinated to acknowledge this. Plus, yeah, most people are selfish and only give a shit about themselves, pro lifers are no exception to this
