Discussion Question about people who shoot their brains out to ctb

Do you think that people that shoot their brains out via up into the mouth, do you think that they suffer horrific excruciating pain for a while and suffocate and then die?

I've been wondering that too actually, I had a chance to shoot myself in the head a few times in my life. But this same thought actually stopped me. And all the horror stories I've heard.

If they aim correctly and have the right gun and ammo they don't suffer at all.

I don't know nor can do the math but if the bullet travels into their brain faster than the sense of pain from the nerves does, then they will feel literally nothing. I remember hearing the pain response took about 100ms and I'm decently sure a bullet will pass through your brain faster than that, so...
