Hey,
Overdosing on pills (and combining it with alcohol) used to be a well known method of suicide.
Why is it not lethal anymore? Is it painful for those who succeed?
What kind pills are lethal if trying to overdose at home?
Thank you

Because there is much less available drugs that are lethal in OD. Not even on prescription.
Barbiturates are practically no longer prescribed (and even produced). SSRI are replacing tricyclic antidepressants that are much more toxic in OD.
