Help Question about N method; Going to Peru tomorrow

I am going to Peru tomorrow, and I am going to follow up on a few stores which might carry N. However I am wondering if I am allowed to take it back into the us and how much will be allowed through customs?
Also if anyone has a concrete source and they would like/be able to share, it would be appreciated. Thank you.

It's illegal to take back to the USA (and most other countries), so if they find it there's every chance you will be arrested.

I can see you're new here, so it's very unlikely anyone will share sources with you.
