Help Question about cutting yourself on your arms (SH)

My arms are quite veiny and I'm not sure if cutting there is gonna be dangerous in any way. That's why I've been cutting on my thighs only, but I'd like to know is there any risk with cutting on my arms and cutting a vein?

Yup, there is. I hit something important before and bled for about 8 hours straight. Not enough to kill me, but enough to where I was very uncomfortable and sick. I had to get stitches and fluids, and had a huge bloody mess in my bathroom to clean up when I got home.

yeah that's an issue with cutting. you may just damage yourself bad enough where it turns into more of a mess and you have to get help or go to a hospital. you can also accidentally kill yourself like Avicii was suspected of doing.
