• If you haven't yet, we highly encourage you to check out our Recovery Resources thread!
  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Apparently, if you listen to sad music, you'll become sad. So starting my recovery is through the little things -- I made a happy playlist:
Even though I enjoy listening to sad music, it's getting to me. I need a support that may keep me on my feet, considering how fucked up life is right now. So I'm pushing you (if that's the right word) to comment a happy song you like. I'm building up as the radio goes.

Today, February 10th, I recommend Criminal by Hello Seahorse!
A part of the song says:
Todos tenemos una bestia por dentro
Que vive de nuestras lágrimas y fracasos
Pero duerme si le hacemos entender
Que su papel es existir, oh-oh

Y no insistir
We all have a beast inside
That lives on our tears and failures
But it sleeps if we make it understand
That its role is to exist, uh-oh
And not to insist

It's cheesy, maybe corny, but positive. A little ray of sun.

Makes sense. They say that forcing yourself to smile makes you happier as well. Sometimes you just feel like you can't though.

Good to see anyone taking recovery into their own hands, I hope you find this helpful! On a similar note, I've lately been surrounding myself with music that's wildly different from what's conventional, stuff that sounds as wild as possible and doesn't pull any punches. A frenzy of musical chaos! Mad Pride all the way!!
