Hey guys,
I just managed to get a Propranolol prescription from my GP after mentioning Panic attacks and I see that's a beta blocker? I've seen a couple times through searching that it isn't recommended in the sn method anymore, but I haven't seen any reasons why. Is it just unproven, so not really necessary? Or does it actually reduce your chances of success?
And furthermore, I haven't been able to acquire any sedatives, this prescription was supposed to be for benzos, but I haven't managed. Can propranolol work as a sedative by any chance? I see it's good for anxiety and slowing heart rate, and I asked and it should help with keeping me calm during panic attacks. So, would this work? I have the antiemetics and such.
Thank you,
