I never understood why the majority of the population seems to be uncapable of seeing the root problems of this world. Most people have such a narrow, archaic and illogical understanding of the world. But then again, some time ago I was a pro-lifer myself. I guess when you're so blinded by hope it's really difficult to see the world for what it really is.This is perfectly said! I hope you don't mind I screen shotted this. Pure genius!
Pro-life reasoning is inherently unsound of mind and irrational. Unfortunately these people make up the vast majority of the human population. This enables the majority to set the rules and make up what's right and wrong without logic and repercussions.
Basically "your misery doesn't matter as long as your heart is still beating".When I was in treatment, someone once told me that it's okay if I am depressed or have suicidal thoughts for the rest of my life as long as I manage them. Umm why would I want to stick around for over 5 more decades if I'm deprsssed and suicidal?
Amen to that!I never understood why the majority of the population seems to be uncapable of seeing the root problems of this world. Our pro-life society makes me go crazy. It's a pro-suffering society. And yes, some people want to completely change society to make it more friendly, but how revolutionary is that? While changing society for the better is commendable, it's nothing more than damage control. Minimizing suffering. Truly revolutionary would be the abolition of suffering. And, like you said a few times on other threads, the revolution against nature/the abolition of suffering can only be achieved through ctb.

lol Latin looks cool
You want to stick around because your family would miss you. You see, your family's feelings are more important than your own feelings.When I was in treatment, someone once told me that it's okay if I am depressed or have suicidal thoughts for the rest of my life as long as I manage them. Umm why would I want to stick around for over 5 more decades if I'm deprsssed and suicidal?
I agree. How can someone claim to be pro-life while nature itself is built to destroy it.Pro life doesn't exist...no ones choose to be born...only ego exists off humans...he created the evil between us...if we can't unit and destroy this against him ...we will suffering again and again at the moment when we will start to see where these problems coming from.
>you can choose to be happyThis is so true. Some people just say, when you wake up in the morning, you can choose to be happy. Like hell nah honey. Why would you choose to ignore all wrongs been done to you when you have the power to stop it.
If free will existed I would have willed myself dead long ago.>you can choose to be happy
imagine thinking that free will exists lol
Pro-life logic is amazing.
1. Life = good
2. Death = bad
3. Pain = bad
4. No pain = good
Life = (experience of) pain
Death = no pain
Therefore:
Life (good) = pain (bad)
Death (bad) = no pain (good)
The result of pro-life logic is hence:
Good = bad

I like that quote! Do you mind if i add this to my signature?Basically "your misery doesn't matter as long as your heart is still beating".
Hey thank you. I don't mind at all. It would be an honor.I like that quote! Do you mind if i add this to my signature?
yes, yes. They are the selfish onesIt's the common and ridiculous equating of quantity with quality. So long as you have a lot of it, what does it matter if it's complete shit?
"Your misery doesn't matter as long as your heart is still beating." --Brilliant.
The one I love is how friends tell me, "You must take care of yourself! You must put your needs first for once!", but when I suggest I intend to ctb they shriek, "You can't do that to us! How could you be so selfish?!"
