It's weird and unpleasant to have actually been dragged into having this conversation and it ending on something like 'G-d says you're supposed to make kids, and, as a male, owe someone child support, or owe someone of the correct gender whether or not you're with them and making kids.'

My family is kind of mental and this was a lot of 'beard' puns but that's when I knew I should've CTB for sure earlier.

The Buddha taught that you just need to stop clinging to break free from dukkha, achieve nirvana, and escape reincarnation.

So I tried and it didn't work, I'm still suffering. Do you think I can get my money back?

I think life is too cruel for spirituality/karma to be real. More likely in the chaotic randomness that life happened by accident. Maybe some proteins got zapped by lightning or something and that led to all this suffering.
