Does anyone wish CTB could be as simple as pressing a red button on a box? CTB would be a zillion times easier if pro-lifers gave us a break for once and granted us access to pentobarbital and cyanide.

Yeah, I can't wait for those suicide booths to appear all over the streets.

I'm not sure though. I think if I could do it again, I don't think I would live my own life. I'd either have to live someone else's life, hopefully someone that has a better one than I have, or else I just wouldn't want to live at all. If I could have my way I would've chosen to never even be put here in the first place.
Hmmm. . . Maybe they could have one button you can press to ctb, and a second button to press if you wanted to reset your own life, or a third button if you wanted to experience a different life (just keep in mind that different isn't always better).

Come to think of it you're right. I wouldn't want to live what I've went through again. But if I had a chance to live the same life again but do everything differently I probably would.

I think I would get obsessed with perfectionism If I had just button to reset my life though. I would just use it every time I made some mistake. So that would mean I would use it every few months or so. And in some situations in my life I've found out there wasn't any right choice in first place. Doesn't matter which option I would choose as both were equally bad just in different way. In the end I would realize that I can't live my ,,perfect" life so I would just give up and CTB anyway.

This would be very convenient. For myself I only have one mistake and that would be not getting out of a dangerous relationship at the very start. I have no regrets from before that so its clear my life became ruined from the bad experience with a sociopath. Since this happened, I don't want anything to do with existing since I cannot consider what I'm experiencing to be called living...it's more like just existing
Peace/hugs

Once overpopulation becomes a true problem I will welcome the government-issued suicide pills

Overpopulation is already huge problem. I wonder why governements around world insist on keeping us alive against our will then? I feel like they only don't want to let potential tax-payers die so they could avoid paying taxes. If you didn't had to pay taxes during your life, then I think that such pills would have been introduced long time ago.

I would guess that it's because in countries where there's overpopulation, euthanasia is not an option, while in countries where euthanasia is an option, there's no overpopulation.

I've thought about it a lot. I would be happy if I had a chance to go back. But there are other problems. The alternative cost of some people being happy in this world is that others are sacrificed. We would like to buy a mobile phone for a cheaper price. A Chinese would pay for it. They work 12 hours a day. They live a terrible life. Immigrants do the dirty work in every country. Injustice everywhere. I don't want anyone to pay for my happiness. I reject this reality. If I had only a restart button in front of me, I would use it. I prefer the exit button. I didn't choose to be born, but I'm here. It's not bad to disappear forever. No happiness and pain. Others don't carry your ass. My instincts want the restart button. My logic wants the exit button. I prefer my logic. As long as I can remember, I hate this world.

I am still going to go with the exit button because I don't believe that life is worth living. Even in better circumstances, one is not free of old age, infirmity, disease, sorrow, and the fact that the world sucks and is a cruel, cold place. No one really TRULY cares about you (maybe family and really close friends), and most of the world is rather superficial and hypocritical, rife with double-standards and more.

Yes, I'd love to have that option. I wish death didn't have to be so messy, along with the process we have to through to achieve peace.

I wish there was a button to erase myself from existence. Like I stop existing without the need to die.
