So there are a bunch of music threads on here, but I'm trying something kind of new. Looking for people to post their favorite line or two from a song, basically what takes a song from good to great in your opinion. Hope we can keep this one going, as I love to analyze lyrics. I'll start off with a couple, and hope to add to this thread regularly.

1. Nickelback - If Today Was Your Last Day
Know I'm going to get flamed for NB, but this song really strikes a cord, because I know one day soon will be my last day

The full lyrics nicely capture the ambivalence behind suicide. The relief of the one that's gone and the pain of those that are left behind. The guy behind the band killed himself shortly after this album came out.

I love 10000 Days, love how Maynard went above bis beliefs to pay this beautiful tribute:

The ups and downs, It's all because "I'm going slightly mad".

I am terrified I'd have to be remembered being this way. Angry at the world, never loved, never known I'm mentally missing a screw. Without ever knowing what's wrong and never having a good reason to do it.
