My alienware laptop is unbeatable at causing the heat death of the universe and burning anything that's even remotely close to it to a crisp.

what model? if you mind me asking
M15R5 Ryzen. I don't remember all the specs since i got sent a better spec-ed replacement after my first broke during warranty, it's got a 3070 and some sort of high end ryzen cpu in it. Runs RDR2 at near all ultra 60-90fps depending on the scenery. Then it overheats and causes the entire town to catch fire, but that's a detail lol.

I haven't yet, i keep forgetting to buy one lol. So far using msi afterburner to slightly underclock my gpu and ryzen controller to lower the max allowed cpu temp works pretty well. It cuts the performance a bit, but it also stops it from turning itself into an oven.

also, you should definitely uninstall all the bloatware installed onto your computer (unless you already did)
Dell likes to install Mcaffe and other bloatware apps to their computers

16" Macbook Pro (2019), 8-core Intel i9, 64GB/1TB, Radeon 5500 4GB I think

Compared to the new ones it's a slow POS with a battery that only lasts a few hours and only a 60 Hz screen. (Though I mostly use it at my desk and only have 60 Hz monitors to plug it into, and have no reason to ever plug it in to my 120 Hz tv)

Wow, a lot of laptop users on SS
i had a 2015 mackbook air in 2016
the battery on that thing wouldn't last for more than 2 hours
