absolutely. a 22 cal will work for CTB. if its a few inches from your head, it'll easily penetrate and be fatal, as long as you get a direct hit to the brain or major blood vessels. im also quite sure its one of the less painful ways to CTB with a gun, cuz it causes less tissue damage and a quicker loss of consciousness.

I wouldn't use a 22. Personally, I don't think it will guarantee instant death. Someone had posted a chart I believe in the firearms Forum regarding lethality for every gauge gun. I was considering a 12 gauge shotgun at one pointSimilar threads
