My brother spent new years at my aunt's place and sent a weirdly sad and beautiful post card. At least I think it's weirdly beautiful. It ended with:
"(Niece) and I slept through New year's. That was nice. Here are some news: (Aunt 1) broke her foot, the chicken's don't lay eggs anymore, (Aunt 2) is getting old, (Aunt 3) is already old, (Niece) is speaking 20 words per day now, (Brother's gf) is tired and I am hopefully not sick. Love, (Brother)."
Yeah. Life is passing. But they all spent new year's together and this Passage reads very beautiful to me. Something something Memento mori.
He's been sending me a lot of post cards and I greatly appreciate that. I hope I can see him again soon.
