Ugh people are so gross.
I hope the judge throws the case away if the girl doesn't drop the charges herself.
I've been touched accidentally, with intent, I have been raped too, and there's a clear difference.
This is what happens when parents teach their kids that everyone is out to have sex with them and their mothers and their mother's mother. It ends up being weaponized and used against anyone they can apply it to, I've seen little school kids throwing around "pedophile" at an age they shouldn't even know such terms.
It's ridiculous.
I know a guy who's on the sex offender registry, he had consensual sex with a girl, but because of a two year age difference, her parents called the police and he has since then had to register, nobody wants anything to do with him, he has no real job, no future, no friends, he's at a standstill just waiting to die because all they see is what's on the paper, not the story behind it, I am his only friend as a result.
It is not fair to put that on anyone over social awkwardness and vengeance.
I'm so tired of societies that are all about punishment but no rehabilitation or prevention, if he's 19 and going to school, he should have been noticed (a long time ago) as needing a hand with counseling, some social etiquette and self esteem therapy to try get over the social anxiety, now his entire future is getting thrown into the trash.
I can also see him end up here with the rest of us, it's unfortunate.
