Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I know we get asked this a lot but I'm curious to see what the numbers look like.

my parents would disown me if they knew i was a lesbian, i got dumped by someone i wanted to marry. i wish i was never attracted to anyone in the first place so i wouldn't get to experience loss.

As mentioned above I would choose asexuality any day of the week if it was possible to alter brain chemistry to that extent. If I un-queered myself I might as well turn into a run of the mill incel... Straight people don't have it any better.

I understand where you're coming from but I don't get romantically attracted to anyone and I still experience loss (loss of friendship, family, pets).

People also do get disowned for being aro/ace.

Not being attracted to anyone has been incredibly isolating, in my experience. It has limited my ability to relate to and understand others. I always feel like there's something wrong with me.

It's like a bad joke at this point, but being bi gives me the benefit of more possible partners. I "pass" very well as a straight woman, so I do not face harassment.

Years ago when I was religious and dealing with a lot of internalized homophobia, my answer would have been very different.

Now, I see no point in changing this. I only wish I found it easier to connect with both genders. I am friendly and easily find acquaintances. Getting beyond that point is where the difficulty lies.

I've decided to permanently abstain from romantic relationships, so it really doesn't affect my daily life. If I was going to have relationships I'd 100% want to be heterosexual though. It would eliminate a lot of doubt and fear from my mind.

Bit complicated here, being trans is really annoying. If I can just be a cis man then yes of course. It's a no for being a cis woman, just not an identity I want for myself. As for sexuality, I like it complicated as it is right now, wouldn't want to be straight.

Although I love being Bi my internalized homophobia for myself I have because of my parents and me not "fitting in" cause it put a big strain on my mental health and things would be somewhat easier if I was "Normal"

I can't imagine not being attracted to men, woman, and everyone else. I get so much enjoyment out of seeing attractive people. It's fun and is like seeing beautiful art wherever I go. I wouldn't trade that away just because some people think I'm going to hell for it. Though, the only reason I can really say that is because I'm fortunate enough to live somewhere accepting.
