Social democracy for the win. Though that can mean very different things in different contexts. I would probably say I'm a leftist soc dem/cautious socialist. I want corporations to be heavily regulated, and largely kept out of welfare and social provision. So that separates me from neolibs. I'm generally in favour of workers owning the companies they work for. But I wouldn't want the state to enforce that, or attempt to dominate all industry activity. Which probably separates me from communists/revolutionary socialists. In short, I want state run schools, public transport, healthcare, utilities etc., but not state run supermarkets, restaurants, or theatres. Anything optional to the pursuit of a good life is best left to the market to provide.

My political beliefs are mostly left leaning but very specific to the particular issue being discussed (no gun control for me thanks) and I don't have a good enough grasp on how the economy works to take a hard line stance on many economic issues (my country is in unfathomably large amounts of debt but apparently this is not a problem??? I am confused).

Im a centrist who's usually open to discussion, although I despise politics in general. I still read about it and I hang out a lot with my good childhood friend, who is a conservative christian who also vibes with Krishna. We have a shitton to talk about and they are a sensitive, good person. Its rare to have somebody so sure of their beliefs, yet willing to come out of their political comfort zone to talk freely with an atheist and a centrist.

The political situation in my country is laughable, so rn we're often vibing with the same content creators/socio-political Polish commentators.

I oscillate between socialism and anarchy.

Above all else, I passionately believe in a kind society that looks after its people, and that does not overlook or trample on its most vulnerable. I believe in collaboration and caring, not "survival of the fittest" or "every man for himself." I doubt such a society will ever truly exist, and if it will, I won't live to see it.

I'm a bit of a Lefty and believe in distribution of wealth so the ones who have nothing, have more. But I'm so fed up with Labour. I really liked Jeremy Corbyn but have gone right of the guy and the Party because of their irritating wokeness. Starmer hasn't fixed it either because he just sits on the fence. I'd never vote Tory though and actually probably wouldn't ever vote again.

It's so fucking tragic that not enough Americans understand that you can't have a strong, healthy society without basic human solidarity... Eliminating poverty by offering people a safety net & free education is the best economic policy - egalitarian Scandinavian countries & Holland have extremely competitive economies not because their citizens work unbearably hard (in fact, they get 30-40 paid vacation days per year), but largely because they don't write off the poor & treat them like vermin. People there aren't constantly terrified that they will end up totally abandoned & homeless if they get sick or can't find a decent job... But ruthless American capitalism is so dominant (especially since China & India have also embraced it) that most humans on this planet are fucked

I believe the day humans weren't the species who criminalized homosexuality, is the day the first politician can be let out of cradle. Humans aren't intelligent, wise or civilized enough to have such complex things as politics. Look at rats. Rats have never criminalized homosexuality. Rats would say "Everyone can do whatever they want" and yet there wouldn't be any crimes or protests. All the other animal species do just fine without laws, rule(r)s and politicians. If humans were more advanced than them, humans would do even better than animals without laws. I seriously believe humans are the most devolved of all and thus the least capable for ruling. Well, not all humans. But what the chances of unique people ruling? The only thing unique people can win is Eurovision.

I also believe everyone should be given a square kilometer of land to have as their own country. They could make any laws they want or no laws at all.
