OK. I did some research. Don't CTB by flirting with lightning.
Here's an interesting article about the subject: ABC NEWS - LIGHTNING STRIKE
One survivor says, "It's like grabbing an electrical cord… You don't feel the burns until it's over with. It cooks you from the inside out like being in a microwave. And you've got a hurting in your bones." He said that's after it feels like a freight train knocks you over.
It's also interesting to note that while a lightning strike could very well zap you out of existence, there are many people who survive. The man in the article survived TEN strikes. Before him, the world record holder was seven. Personally, I've been struck ZERO times, but I did stick a paper clip into an electric socket one time.
If you do try getting struck by lightning and survive, though, you could claim that you were trying to give yourself free ECT. "People struck by lightning can suffer neurological damage, burns, memory loss, headaches and changes in personality..." Sounds an awful lot like the ECT experience thread.
