I'm making this thread to document my process, as I think that's an useful resource that I'd like to have found more easily to make myself more comfortable with this process.

I'm going to tie a nylon sock around my neck and use a spherographic pen to twist.

Now, there's something that'll make things a bit harder and mopre painful: I cannot make myself faint by pressing my carotid. I've found it, but pressing it doesn't seem to do anything. But I do get the "exploding/full head" feeling when practicing, which is good enough for me because Five Last Acts says that's also lethal and I think I can handle the discomfort.

I should try it in about 6 hours, so feel free to ask anything while I'm still around. I might fail, though, of course. If I do, I'll report back tomorrow.

The other methods I've seen here are not accessible in my case, except for the train one, that I might use if all else fails.

Sorry for my bad english, thanks for reading and for being part of this amazing community, you all have helped me a lot with your information.

Don't see anything wrong with your english at all! and your method seems one of the easiest I've read about. At the risk of sounding like a broken record: If a little lady in a hospital can be successful with it (from 5 Last Acts) it can't be too hard, right? She also used a stocking. I wish you all the best on your journey! Will be thinking of you tonight...

I really wish if this method could demystified for us. If this method works, it would be revolutionary.

Couldn't do it yet, I shouldn't have taken ambien before trying. That made me a bit emotional and also sleepy.

The nylon is very uncomfortable on my skin and rotating the tourniquet was pinching my neck. It's not going to be very pleasant, but gotta do what I gotta do.

I'll try again tonight, I have plenty of time.

Update: haven't gotten around to doing it yet, I'm hesitant for some reason. I'll update again the day I try so I don't have to keep commenting (is there not a way to just edit my comment?)

Please do not pressure yourself unless you feel in your gut that the time is right. And if you do, good luck. Hugs

Why nylon sock?
It's just a material that I have lying around and feels adequate. Stretches just enough and is resistant.

There are probably better options such as a ratchet strap, but it's impossible for me to buy* anything, as the time I spend home and the money I have are tightly controlled by my parents.

You can edit your comments but that way the thread won't jump to the top and the people who are watching it won't get a notification, so no one will notice you've updated us.

Is that a good thing for chosen material to stretch? Do you use any neck paddings? If not, does it hurt your windpipe? I tried tourniquet and felt very dizzy too, way too much to handle.

Your English is very good. Will look for anything from you to see how it went. If I don't see anything I'll wager the trip was successful. Whatever your choice I wish you ☮️. Good luck with your endeavor.

I'm not 100% on what I'm about to say, but, to my understanding, anything that can compress your carotid (which is what is responsible for the dizziness) and won't tear works. I'd say go with what is more comfortable for you.

I don't use any padding and it doesn't hurt my windpipe, but it is rough on my skin -- that does hurt a bit.

By the way, if you got dizzy, that means it almost worked. If you give it a few more seconds, you'll lose consciousness and it'll be swift from there

If it hurts, you should use some padding...cant get a fleece head-band? a towel works too, I guess...
