My plan, as it stands, is to utilize both carbon monoxide poisoning as well as overdose with a mixture of sleeping pills, anxiety medication and antidepressants in order to reduce panicking or backing out. I have always backed out and either ended up in the hospital, or regretting it less than 24 hours later, usually both.
I have fitted rubber hoses together so that they can reach the tailpipe of my car and go in through my window. My plan is to take these pills, without alcohol, and start the car shortly thereafter and just sit in the back seat. I'm unsure of how solid this plan is, and I have a concern about being "saved." Any thoughts, comments? I don't have a set date yet, but as im writing this, its ready to go. Thanks.

Lots of cars have catalytic converters and other filters as well as produce relative clean emissions. CO poisoning through car is not very effective depending on the vehicle. I tried in a new 2017 Japanese sedan and it was garbage.

I have a 1998 buick. my hope is that with how much meds I have (5175 mg.) combined will make for a lethal situation

Not a good plan. You're using two untested techniques with a low chance of success in an attempt to increase your odds of succeeding. The pill/alcohol overdose isn't going to be fatal, and will probably just make things worse, since overdoses are unpleasant (and if you drink a ton, who knows what you'll end up doing in a drunken state, especially if you're in pain from all those pills). Likewise, the approach of just attaching a hose to your car's tailpipe and hoping it works is not a recipe for success. All you're likely to accomplish with this plan is more pain and a psychiatric commitment.

@greyshalllay1995, I'm sorry you're contemplating such things. Please have a look through the Resource Compendium, which is full of useful links. As @Lookingforabus has said, handfuls of pills are likely to cause pain, vomiting and other bad news, while the car isn't a very sure thing anymore, and you'll end up in a worse situation than you are now.

Here's a link to the resources. Please be careful. Don't rush into things. x

Also, if you are found drunk in a car... that's a DUI or DWI waiting for you when you get released from the psychiatric hold.

Yes sorry I agree with most of what is said here, two very unreliable techniques combined do not make one solid ctb plan....there is a thread on CO poisoning by mixing 2 acids together to produce CO very quickly and in high concentration, if you do that in an enclosed space like your car it can work effectively and painlessly. But check out the thread first to get the details ! Please don't hasten into what will probably not bring you to the grave but the psych ward....
