Is Phenobarbital the same as N if it's in a tablet?
Also is Phenobarbitone the same?
Just curious as I have rather a few tubs of these tablets (used to work as a pharmacy dispenser) and just wondered how they worked compared to N and if you'd get that peaceful sleep?
From what I've read it's still a peaceful CTB method but takes up to 1/2 hour to die.
Also got phenytoin and that's just as good as Phenobarbital, so I'm told.
Befoie Anyone asks how I got them I was a dispenser in a chemist and the tablets were being thrown away. All chemists have a scheme in the uk that they will dispose of any prescription drugs and these were from there.

The Heaven's Gate cult's group exit in 1997 used pheno with vodka. From the photos and brief video I've seen of the aftermath, it looked peaceful and I assume quick.

Phenobarbital, phenobarbitone and phenobarb all are synonyms for the same compound. N and Ph both are barbiturates except that Ph is a long acting drug, it takes almost an hour to the effect to take place. With over (lethal) doses during that hour, the person will suffer from painful side affects -mostly cardiac- before coma then death which happend much slower than in case of N, and in case of failure, Ph causes horrible withdrawal syndromes. In rare cases, Ph could cause what is called Steven-Johnson syndrome, which include blisters, fever, and widespread pain.

No kidding? I usually associate Stevens-Johnson's with sulfa drugs.

yep, sulfa drugs are inducers as well, here's some reported cases of SJS induced by Phenobarbital:

Hm. With Rachel74 banned for scamming, one might wonder why a former dispenser at a chemists wouldn't be able to check for herself what the substances are. So this was clearly a fishing thread - an advert of what she has available.

It's surely not legal for employees to help themselves to serious prescription drugs slated for disposal. They don't just put them in dumpsters, do they?

Not my preferred method, but N is pentobarbital, not phenobarbital, surely ?

Correct as usual, @Roger. The fact that Rachel74 had to ask (or pretended she had to ask) isn't very compatible with her claim to have been a dispenser at a chemist's. In that position one would be expected to know the difference, I hope?

Controlled substances like this are kept close watch on even when they have 'expired'. All the way up until the moment they are actually destroyed. Careful records are usually kept on the entire process.

I found some phenobarbital on indiamart. I know it's slower acting than N but N is so hard to get, is it worth a shot to get it in order to ctb?

Ok then great. :( :,( I feel like my only hope really is an end of life clinic abroad

A long-awaited device called the "debreather" is now available for sale. It uses the same principle as the exit bag method but in a ready-to-use product without all the technical concerns. You just put the mask on your face, keep breathing and the device does all the rest.

You can read about it at the following two links:

Thoughts on the debreather? | Sanctioned Suicide
My thoughts: This thing keeps you breathing in the same air that you have just exhaled in a closed loop. At one end are your lungs, at the other end is a sealed container to contain the exhaled air. The mask and sealed container are connected by tubes which have filter containers containing...

i need a video livestream source for the 28th stream, i was waiting for it for weeks but slept it out, can anyone upload it in a zip? Crap, hopefully i wasn't the only one who was about to record it. He used to use facebook live but now he uses his own exit livestream site that doesn't save...

In the second link I posted about Nitschke, the debreather is available from the URL that has the word "right" in it. The second URL included isn't active.
