the black kitten in the first photo was left in our back yard by a stray and abandon and she as dying so we kept her, but she came back a year later and had 5 more kittens and left them early as well so we caught her and got her fixed, and the torti colored cat was the weakest and least likely to live so we were just going to take her but we noticed one of the grey ones would guard her and not leave her side at all times so we just took him too since they were so attached and the other three were really healthy so we got them all fixed and their ears clipped so animal control wont re capture them and they pretty much stay in our back yard at all times and luckily stay out of the road so its going pretty well. luckily no new dying kittens have appeared in our back yard since the vet who lives nearby started capturing and fixing all the stray cats for free.

edit: we also have a old trailer we don't use so in the winter those three sleep in there with a heater and blankets so they don't get cold and they probably eat better than the indoor cats so they're just as spoiled.

I always had a soft spot for black cats. I know many are abused and abandoned because of the superstition that black cats are bad luck or that people find them ugly compared to cats with more colorful coats.

Before last month, I never dreamed of making this suggestion. I still can't believe what I'm about to say...

You should consider starting an IG for these cuties or for anyone reading this your pet too. I'm just using cats as an example, because that's what I'm into. So just mentally replace the word cat with your pet while reading this and it still applies.

Let me explain... I hate Instagram so much, but I recently discovered this bizarre cat subculture on there. Cats following cats. Cats liking other cats posts. Cats from different parts of the world commenting in pet emojis. It's a crazy cat circle jerk basically. I find shit posting pictures my cats on there quite enjoyable and I'm inadvertently learning about photography, which I wasn't into before. I haven't been interested in anything in a long time. So these feels are foreign to me.

I only follow cats or pets. Absolutely no humans. I try not to venture out of the cat realm there or I'll have a bad time and remember what a cesspool Instagram is. I also don't tell people IRL about it so I can anonymously and comfortably let my kitty cringe flag fly.

Again, I can't believe I just said all that.

My new dogo. We got him two days ago. Hes called Ozzy, short for Ozymandias, cause when he looks around he sticks his neck out like he's royalty.

New doggie! Got her from a rescue center in Cyprus :D She's called Mabel, is 6 months old and is a very good girl ^_^
