The people who never frown eventually breakdown

I came across a post today on social media that honestly made my blood boil. A woman posted a "candid" photo of her family member who has cancer crying in a kitchen. The entire post was about how strong she was, even going as far to brag about how she was making lunch for others despite going through chemo. And all thr comments were all like "she's so strong" or "you're luckyto still have her", etc while the poster ate it up with no one asking the obvious of 'what are you doing to actually help her?' Cause posting a vulnerable pic for likes and views ain't where it's at.
And it made me think that this is exactly why I don't want to be here anymore. People are so freaking selfish. They don't want to truly help anyone, they just want a pat on the back for noticing you are in a bad spot while not actually doing anything constructive to help. It just pisses me off and has made my resolve to CTB before I find myself in a spot like that, even greater.
