Yes, it's a good alternative to pentobarbital sodium; it can be taken orally, dose should be no less than 10g. Be prepared for a slightly worse taste than N as thiopental sodium does have a suphur ion in its composition.

This was coming out of India a couple of years ago and might still be. Indians are not to be trusted on most drugs they say they have but I've known a couple of people get this. One was sold it as nembutal powder and when tested it was 10% N, 80% thio and some other harmless stuff.

You'll probably have 1-2 minutes. Onset is faster than N. When given IV, the onset is in seconds.
