Where should I hang?
You should hang from a support which will hold part of your weight.

You should test this by tying the loose end of your ligature around
the support several times, sticking your hand (NOT your head) in the
noose and pushing down with it. If the noose holds, you're fine. If
not, then you'll have to find another spot.

Trying to complete partial suspension with a belt in a door frame, looking for some helpful info. I can't seem to get the pressure right on my carotid arteries, if anyone has a video on exactly how to get the pressure right much would be appreciated thank you or even a video/info on this method with a belt. It seems fairly easy, the belt tightens itself as you apply weight into the end of it. Thanks

Carotid compression was first covered in the March 2019 edition of the PPeH. The PPeH is written by two medical doctors. There is a whole chapter dedicated to this method. Its referred to as the "Korean Method". It also talks about how to avoid placing pressure on the trachea. The March 2019 edition can be found here:

Based upon my own experiences, I would not recommend this method: tried partial suspension, obviously it failed, but I was left with lots of small red dots on my face where the tiny capillaries had burst due to the increase in pressure. Luckily the red dots cleared up after a couple of days.

I did a test run with a thin cable using both hands, i.e. self strangulation, with some success. However, when it came to my actual attempt using a door knob for the suspension, I failed multiple times.

I just tried it with a belt looped and the other end shut in a doorframe, I was standing up and leaned all my body weight forward and I'm 190 pounds.. and I nearly fainted seeing white spots everywhere. The sweet spot is underneath your Adam's apple, you can still breathe. It was pretty comfortable, this was probably less than 5 minutes ago.

For anyone looking to try this method, you can definitely make yourself pass out if you just stay there for that extra minute or two and that extra attempt or two to lean forward, make all your body weight limp and lean forward.. I had it one way and I had to cough, tried again and I was fine, then I started passing out. I caught myself and I was stumbling everywhere's. I can't speak as to what would happen if you actually pass out, I don't know you just collapse after you pass out and the pressure is fine around your neck, I don't know if the belt will hold me for the full 20 minutes but I do know for sure that a belt can and will knock you out if you close the end into a door frame with it looped through around your neck, as if your neck is your waist, it doesn't need to be closed, it tightens itself around your neck as you push against it. This seemed pretty peaceful honestly. I wanted to back out to document I guess you could say I failed my attempt, but I now know I've probably got a way out.
