Partial hanging help

I'm bringing up this again cause I'm still having trouble, I'm doing it as of rn but I feel like it's not working I pulled tighter and stayed langer but it nothing happens, I used no padding, yes padding, used a slipknot, can y'all just run me down what I gotta do
