Having tested out everything beforehand everything works, to my surprise. Using a leather belt, I jammed it in the door and dropped feet forward...

I understand now why so many talk about SI. Done right, you should black out within 10-15 seconds, I lasted somewhere between 1-4...

There's no "pain" but there's discomfort, and a sensation in the lower abdomen unlike anything I've experienced in my life. The mind begins to panic from the sudden shifts of state, but all of that was expected and negligible. The worst part was a combination of the narrowing of my perception (couldn't hear, lost feeling, vision blurring and narrowing) and a hyper-awareness of time. For those that have ever played fast-paced video games or near-fatal accidents, it's the same feeling.

I couldn't feel my legs and had to totally focus on moving my hand to open the door. By the time I finished typing this, it all subsided. Time for attempt #2, idk when I'll get this opportunity again.
edit: I had also stopped breathing, but all I could feel was blood pressure increasing in the head and that strange sensation in the lower abdomen.

Which may mean I messed up the positioning, I never heard anyone say whether you should be able breathe when done correctly.

Breathing should be doable but laboured.

The first time it was constricting air flow, which I think induced the panic.

The second time I could but it was very difficult and unexpected which caused a far less extreme panic. The 2nd time was far less unpleasant than the first, but I lost track of time and stopped.

#4 or 5 I should be able to get it right. I think #1 the belt wasn't tight enough and too low on the neck.

I'd definitely say make 100% certain you'll be alone for at least an hour, and lock or barricade doors if need be. The anxiety of being discovered makes it much more difficult, you have to be calm to mitigate SI.
