The title pretty much says it all. I hid it in a somewhat obscure place, but I know I could have done better; I guess some stupid, reckless emotional side of me hoped they might find it(?)
Anyway, my mom was the one who found it. She told my dad about it before she confronted me. The two called me aside for a "favor" and cornered me. It was pretty obvious what they were up to, but I really had no choice, so I went. I walked slow to give myself a few extra seconds to formulate the bs lie that I told them. By some stupid luck (or stupid parents), they believed me. I had to pinch myself to avoid smiling from the absurdity of the whole affair. I guess it can be attributed to good old wishful thinking.
Still, they must have some inkling of doubt—that, or they straight up played dumb—because they're watching me like a hawk. They won't leave me alone in my room for two minutes without barging in and making not-so-subtle suggestions that I should really come back outside.
Hmmmm, I'm wondering why I'm even typing this story. I guess I'm at a loss for what to do. I could make a new noose easily, but it's not like they'll allot be enough time to use it. This is dumb, selfish, really—me passing on these impossible questions to people who can't come up with an impossible answer.
Welp, thanks if you read this. Sorry for wasting your time.
