Went on a routine train scouting last night (ive been doing this every evening for almost a month now) and train driver blew his horn at me.
I was strolling and smoking a cigarette in the safe zone behind the yellow line of the platform.
My thoughts are, if I can establish a pattern of fast trains by going trainspotting every evening surely they would be able to figure out that something is going on?
Only good thing about this is that it seems the train didn't slow down.
So I may need to factor in a loud horn sound before I die.

If it were me, I be suspicious too if I saw a person hanging around train stations, but not boarding any of them, unless that person is a train hobbyist. Especially during these dark times when suicide uptick is on the rise and that people start to get desperate.

Next time be sure to wave at them if they honk. Establish an interest in trains. People will act on what is perceived.

If you establish a pattern people will start taking note. I wouldn't call it paranoid since it's a logical concern.

One thing that popped in my mind is to maybe make it look like you're doing something else, too. Like bring a book, or even pretend to be interested in whatever, or have a sketchbook or something. Idk lol but yeah I'd be mega paranoid, too. I was doing something similar near traffic a while back and I felt like cars were watching and slowing down But I'm always paranoid.

I would be incredibly paranoid as well - I'm always that thoughh so idk. But as many others have said it might be a good idea to make it look like you're some kind of train enthusiast or doing something there, if you want to continue strolling that areas a lot. Since yeahhh they might definitely notice something if they see you there very often- especially since the government and shit want us all to stay even against our will
