Hey,

It happened like almost a year ago but I decided to tell and ask something about that only now.

So around a year ago when my depression and mental health REALLY gone to shit I started getting panic attacks, they happened only few time and they all happened like once in a few days during a period of less than a month, when that happened I started to feeling like there less and less oxygen and in a fraction of a second i could hardly breath and i started choking, but that wasnt that serious, that one happened few times only, the last one (I think it was the last) was the biggest one, I was in the bathroom and suddenly I started feeling the same thing (like the oxygen is going away and I started to choke), suddenly I fell on the floor and I could hardly breath for around 10 minutes, I could hardly breath and move, all around this panic attack was around 10-15 minutes and let me tell ya, those were one of the best feeling minutes of my life, I felt like im dying and finally my siffer is gonna end, I think I even started smiling and tried to laugh, it was an AMAZING feeling.

Anyways my questions is, can anyone confirm for me that it was a panic attack? im pretty sure it was but just to confirm

Are you sure you don't have asthma? It sounds like a panic attack since if you really couldn't move air for that long you would be dead or in serious shape. That said panic attacks are very real to your system, and very uncomfortable and scary. It's pretty awful you're dealing with that. Are there other symptoms than breathing issues, and are there triggers?

If there are no specific triggers to help you avoid it then the next best thing Is practice clam down breathing techniques so you'll know how to force your system to regulate when it happens.

Were you hyperventilating by any chance?

Seems like a panic attack, i had a few of them myself in the past month. The "advice" i have been giving was installing some app to help control my breathing, which actually worked.

I agree, it's possible that during hyperventilation limbs become numb and stiff. It's also possible that one becomes very dizzy. Maybe that is why you fell on the floor.

However, since I'm not a doctor, I can only make speculations.
