Painting with blood

I've only painted with it on shower walls because I didn't want to save it. I haven't tried painting anything meant to be preserved, but I've heard there are chemicals that can help sanitize and preserve the blood.

As a teen, back when I was into self-harm, I weaved a web arround my arm with a box-cutter. Not exactly painting, more like amateur tatoo work. Pure dadaism. Looked kinda cool, if you can see behind a facepalm.

I do some calligraphy and have a cartridge specifically for filling with blood. Only my own.
A mate and I were taking the p**s outa these period blood art nutters.
He's terrified of sharks
So I made him a period blood picture of a sharks jaw,waited until christmas when he had forgotten.....stuffed it in his christmas present
