I'm sorry.
But I am a noob-

If someone is overdosing and no one intervenes,
Does that person always die, or can they like, stop overdosing and come out with brain damage.
Or does brain damage only happen if someone intervines.

This is prob common sense but ya, I just don't know.

Thank you

Not an expert, but I think it would be hard to say not knowing the dosage and what they're ODing on. For example, tylonel and such I'm pretty sure would fuck up the liver, not the brain. It's also likely dependent on how long after the dosage the person was found how much damage there is, and if they can be saved.

It is hard to overdose nowadays on regular meds it's not the 60s anymore. If you choke on your own vomit you are going to die regardless if no one intervenes.

According to a Harvard article entitled "Lethality of Suicide Methods" this method works 1.5% of the time in the U.S., so this is a 1 in 67 chance of working, based on the years 1989 - 1997 in the U.S. Unless you are using powerful opiates like fentanyl, overdosing rarely works as a suicide method, though it can cause liver damage, brain damage, etc.

Ok.. what about N
I think N and Sn have become more popular recently and they do seem much more effective based on posts here, but I don't knwo about any studies of these- if you search on google possibly you can find something about this.

As a person who has overdosed 14 times now I can say it's a hit and miss method. Depends on what you take and how much of it you take. I can tell you it's landed me in ICU before because I was also found. That's another problem to confront unfortunately.

That's what the stats show- unless it's something very powerful like fentanyl it will probably happen just the way it did for you.
