It all depends on the person.
For me, I stopped taking my medications weeks ago so I could get encouragement from my hallucinations, and I am going to be getting really drunk.

I think Xanax could help with overcoming SI but i think it really depends on the method.

I'm assuming they encourage you to do it. I have hopes that maybe knowing you want to do it to avoid more pain will make them encourage you to not do it. Probably not but then, it was just a thought. I'm intrigued that these types of hallucinations are always so negative. I wish I could talk to you about them.

For those who have attempted and failed I wonder what they might have to offer here.
For me it was dispair, the sense that nothing would be better than this feeling of hopelessness and blank oblivion would be my reprieve.
