I have:

A computer chord (a little bigger than the 10ft charger, height unknown)

A shoelace (about 3 to 3.5ft)

An iPhone charger (10ft)

A bath robe (about 5ft)

I have no means to buy a rope so these are the only things I have. Also, with thinner/technical items (the chord and charger), should I wrap a rag around it?

Also, If it helps, my height is 4'11, and I'm around 180 pounds.

Cat not included btw

where will your cat go?

I still live at home with my parents and my sister. I don't trust my nmom with my pets so I'm either giving both of my cats to my sister and her boyfriend when they move in together, or to one of my teachers who recently lost her cat and fell in love with them after I showed her some videos.

Aw thanks! He knows he's cute so whenever he sees my phone he's ready for the spotlight. If your lovely Jones is no longer around, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Thanks hun, I've lost a bunch of cats in the past few years but thankfully Jonesy isn't one of them. He's still a youngster, and he knows he's cute too  this is him getting in the way when I was trying to change my bedsheets lmao he likes to fall asleep in the most inconvenient places

Ah okay. I'm so sorry for your other cats though. Just the thought of losing any of my pets makes me incredibly sad. He's such a cutie pie! My little chonker Blaze falls asleep any and everywhere. I've found him in the bathtub, on top of my homework, and in a hole in my mattress. My little girl Bella likes to sleep in the sink haha.

My god, that cat is adorable! It makes me a little jealous knowing you have a cat that's still young. My poor cat is getting quite old. I've had her for about 8 or 9 years now, and I think she was 2 when I got her. So yeah, pretty old. She still acts young though, so I'm glad she hasn't stopped her usual activities. She'll follow me on walks, cuddle with me, play with my dogs, and meow at me for attention. Hopefully I don't lose her anytime soon ;-;

Thanks, they were all really old, I'd had them since I was a little kid. So I was expecting it but it was still horrible. Aaaww they're so sweet! Maybe falling asleep in weird places is an orange cat thing? :pfff:

A iphone charger! Thanks for the idea.

I can use a bedsheet with a knotted end pushed past the door and then tie a knot at the back of my neck with the other end of the sheet, plus the iphone charger

It's always rough when they start getting older, it's awesome that she's keeping active though! My lil old lady who died last year lived til she was 16 I think and she had kidney failure for her last few years, so I'm sure your cat still has plenty of time left :))

Thanks, kidney failure's actually really common in cats because they don't drink enough. My two oldest cats both had it. Make sure your cat stays hydrated  I've bought my cats a water fountain and everything haha

Damn, I didn't know that. I'll definitely make sure my cat is drinking enough. Thanks for the info!

How can you own all these things and not have the means to buy a $10 rope though?

Sorry if offtopic. :notsure:

Anthony Bourdain died in the bathroom of his hotel, and used the belt from his bath robe in the hanging. r.i.p Anthony :( (i was huge fan- despite the fact I am vege-and he cooked/ ate literally any animal- and any part of!)

It's fine. These are things I've held onto over the years. The bath robe belt is from when I was little, the charger is a necessity, shoelaces come with shoes, comp cord comes with the computer that I got almost ten years ago.

I'm not allowed to have a job, can't get one behind my parents back because I'm not allowed to get my license either to drive myself there, which means I can't get my own money. No, I don't have friends who can drive me back and forth and no, I don't have anyone to lend me the money or buy the rope for me. That's mostly why I don't have the 10 dollars. Even if I did have ten dollars, I'd have no way to buy the rope online without my parents finding out and I can't go to the store myself to get it because I don't have a means to. Also, I can't open my own banking account. That's pretty much why I can't get my own rope.

This is a terrific photo, Jonesy. I had two dogs that would take that same position and they thought it was extremely comfortable.

I am very sorry about your circumstances, Maka. Maybe someone can brainstorm an idea or two for you, it looks as
though some are doing that now, so the best to you.
