Organ donation after SN

I hope so, I am an organ donor but if I am dead what can they use? My method would be overdose so would any of my organs be viable?
Also in the UK if your next of kin doesn't want to donate your organs then it does not happen.

Yes so I'm wondering if it would be possible to donate organs after SN poisoning. Google says organ donation is possible after death within the 36 hour time frame but I'm not sure if SN will have an impact on my organs.

I want to make sure that my mom gets my liver

I guess the heart and the kidneys will 100% still be viable. But if they find your body after days, I don't think they will use them.

It would be unlikely that they would use organs by SN people. They like to have a full history of the patient and without knowing what else you may have taken the risk to the recipient is high.

Nope. Not in any practical way. The conditions, luck, and choices of the hospital staff would have to work out perfectly and you cannot arrange that. You'd have to find a place policy didn't prevent it either via police and their investigation rules or hospital regulations around suicide etc. The weather would have to be right etc. It's so incredibly unlikely as to be a 0% chance in reality. It's a normal thing we all wish to do at some point. It's sadly not realistic.

Many of us have seen the film Seven Pounds and it seems all romantically kind to help others...but its fiction unfortunately.

That said...live donation....if one is healthy enough...is still an option if you need your "gift of life" fix. Bone marrow, kidneys, bits of liver etc. Can save someone...but its a huge surgery and process most times and not without risk.
