Ordering from DMC

Someone on here sent me the DMC link ages ago. It looks legit (you can choose from either 100/200 g and pay using Airbnb). I went to checkout last night and noticed some new payment options that looked a bit easier to use. The one I chose involves me recieving a unique link and entering my payment details (which now that I think about it, sounds a bit dodgy. I was so excited to order SN haha). Anyway, I haven't even touched the link yet but woke up this morning to emails from one of my accounts for something saying that the email and password had been changed. Someone had also tried to log into my Microsoft account. I'm just curious as to whether or not these two events are related, and if it's safe to even order from my DMC website?

Someone respond to this person please!!! And what is the situation regarding this Microsoft account thing is this part of the process???

I have no idea how my Microsoft account got involved but it's the same email as the one I entered on the website when I was checking out.

I was thinking you got scammed by some sort of fake DMC, but I can see the payment option you were talking about (first one on the list, titled "VISA MASTER CARD"). I thiiiiiiink the whole thing is a coincidence but you should definitely still change your Microsoft account password and try to regain access to the other account ASAP.

Even though the account stuff is probably a coincidence (especially since you didn't click the link), I'm still kinda weary about that payment method. Make sure the linked site is actually owned by a reputable bank or money transfer company before entering your credit card details.

If it helps, I ordered from DMC (my SN arrived yesterday!) and I haven't had any security issues or welfare checks. I used Western Union money transfer and had it delivered to a PO box, so I was able to pay with cash and the only sensitive information I had to give him was my legal name and the city I live in.
