I've been taking Kratom pretty much daily for a while now. I haven't tried to quit, but I'm probably addicted to it. Much like I am addicted to all of my prescribed medication (let me go cold turkey off my meds, even the ones they call "safe" and see if I go into withdrawals or not. lol I've gotten a few doctors to admit that all psychiatic drugs are addictive using that when they start going on about how certain medications are addictive and certains one aren't. Fuck off with that shit, pharm jockeys)
Anyway, green is a good choice, it's a nice balance where you can still feel relaxed but still be able to focus. I use red strains though because I can't sleep after taking green, but that's just me. I can't even drink a can of soda without getting jittery. Just make sure you start with a small amount and give it an hour- to 1.5 to work before you take more. The only opioid type of substance I've had major nausea that made the whole thing worse is from methadone, suboxone, and kratom. And yeah either mix it with something or, what I do is "chase" it. Powder on the spoon right down my throat and immediately follow up with something flavored to drink.
