I am going to buy a new computer for gaming, my computer right now has a cpu I7-3770 and a gpu GTX 660 2gb

I have been recommended a ryzen 3700x cpu, and a RTX 2070 super gpu, what do you think of that processor (ryzen 3700x)? Would you make a bottleneck with the graphic? better ryzen than intel?

Thanks.

I have a ryzen 3600 alongside an RTX 2060 Super. It's a pretty good combo and even the 3600 usually doesn't get completely utilized. So far I have 0 complaints about this setup, works beautifully for desktop and VR gaming.

It's a great combo for 1440p gaming. Intel CPU's have some advantage to AMD in gaming benchmarks but they're kind of overpriced and the 3700X is def. not going to be any kind of bottleneck with the 2070S. I think it's also a good idea to pay some attention to the cooling solution of the 2070S you're going to get.
