Some of you remember Silentinger, who used to be an active member here on SS but decided to let his account be deleted. I somehow managed to get back in touch with him before he did so and he gave me his email to stay in touch with him. I cant Claim to know him that well but i tried to establish a friendship with him over the short time i was lucky enough to have met him.
He really is such a sweet and Kind Person and he also goes through his own Dilemma of staying or just ending it all (like most of us do). In his case however it is a bit different since he is suffering from a terminal disease which means he doesnt have too far ahead (a couple of months only… Maybe 6 months, Maybe 9 months, nobody knows exactly.)
So as to spare himself 9 months from suffering and from loneliness and also from the awful pain of his disease he is considering to finally end it on a set day next week.
Even though he is in so much pain , he is still on the Edge of Course, but he is now missing some very important straws in his life which lead him to the decision of ending it much sooner.
I tried to talk to him and also some other caring People tried to help, but the whole Situation is very difficult.
3 Days ago he asked me if i could post a short message here for him.
"The message basically is that he doesnt have too far ahead but he does regret not being able to say goodbye properly and that there were many People he would like to have thanked and that hoepfully they know who they are. Their kindness and support was much appreciated. "
So i had that idea that i could collect some Kind words of love and appreciation in this thread for him.
Cause like our Wonderful @Weeping Garbage Can uses to say "Words of kindness and love and support are never wasted".
So then i could Forward them to him via E-Mail and even if he Ends it then in a few days and that decision will be final for him, he knows that there were People who appreciated his presence (cause he often said that he felt very unloved).
I have posted a similar thread once before asking if he was okay on his profile and also another post and boths Posts received many kind reactions from members and warm and lovely Feedback...
Also generally i would love to thank everybody for their support here… This is really a place where we can be ourselves and not be judged and i feel like no matter how "small" or "huge" the pain might be that we go through: pain is pain and only those who were stung by the bee know how it feels, but nevertheless we all can relate to each others pain and Show some compassion for whatever Situation we are in.
I often feel like this is a hidden gem place for soo many People who are strongly empathic and who gather there. I am grateful to have this Refuge where we can talk About everything and there are no taboos and we dont have to feel ashamed for being depressed or being stuck in a difficult Situation. <3
