Today was my birthday. I had actually had a really great day. My husband and mother both got me wonderful, thoughtful presents. I had a nice dinner with family. I received messages from the few friends I still have.
My mom just said, "I thank God for being able to have another of your birthdays to spend with you. I think she meant it in the fact that she's aging and doesn't know how much longer she'll have. But in reality, I still expect to ctb in about 2 months, which means this would be my final birthday.
I guess it's nice that I was able to have a good one. I don't really have "good days" that often.
