Discussion On Philosophical and Intellectual Dicussions

I really appreciate that there are so many philosophical and intellectual discussions on SS. They provide for me much needed stimulation and an outlet for this passion.

I wish there was a title for them to highlight what I am seeking, like "Discussion" but more specific, perhaps "Philosophical."

Agreed. Philosophical study and discussion is the most interesting thing to me now.

A lot of 'Discussion' posts that wouldn't necessarily deserve a philosophical tag turn philosophical or otherwise have philosophical discussion just by their very nature. But still, a 'Philosophical' tag would be handy.

I enjoy seeing what people think. I try and keep an open mind and it's great when I see a respectful argument where people disagree but don't get out of their pram. I've even seen some entrenched views changed by the presentation of evidence. That's how debates should work.

Yes, I agree with you and I do enjoy philosophical discussions as they draw lots of interesting ideas.
