Nylon Rope or Saree

For Full or Partial Hanging Which is Better?

I can recommend from experience not to use nylon rope as it leads to burning the skin ( failed partial )

The main issue would be whether the material could take your weight.

There was a video on HS about the Nepali woman that hanged herself using a shawl/saree. It didn't show what she tied it to (I'm assuming a exposed beam/joist in the ceiling) but it was strong enough to take her weight so... it worked.

Saree . Have you tested the anchor point to see if it can hold your weight well?
