Failed almost twenty times before. Every time I hanged myself, the thing that stopped me wasn't the "weird feeling", but the physical pain at my neck and suffocation. I never got fainted, not even once, though I really put enough weight on the neck(because I quit before passing out every time). I practiced a lot with my hand, compressing my carotid, but that didn't work out as well. I almost changed the method.
And yesterday I found a post about chocking game and hyperventilation challenge by chance. Lot of you guys would heard this, it was a big issue for a while.
I ended up fainted twice trying those, and now I kinda got what should feel if I'm fainting, and how much pressure I should put to reduce the pain, which helps you not to quit because of that crazy pain and suffocation.
So what I was going to say is that practicing those games would help you if you're gonna hang yourself. I highly recommend you to try making yourself pass out before you actually ctb. Now I finally feel like I know what I'm doing. Probably try to catch the bus once more around this week, using either partial or another one that I'm considering.
Here's the method that I used:
First of all, make sure that you have something pillowy behind you, because you're probably gonna pass out and fall down.
Squat and breathe heavily till you get dizzy(hyperventilation). And then stand up, don't breathe, bend your head down, tie the clothes(or wire, rope, whatever you prefer) around your neck and tighten it, and then stretch your neck all the way to the back. Your sight would start to fade after 6-7 sec. You may get weird concerns or fear right before you black out, but keep going. I think that is the SI. Try not to loosen the thing around your neck.
It may not work at the first time, but try it several times and find the right placement and pressure. For me, both(chocking and hyperventilation thing) didn't work by themselves for me, so I somewhat combined them together.
You can also use it for make yourself black out before you actually hang yourself, I guess.
Here are some videos that I thought were helpful. Hope it helps you.
You can get more information by searching "hyperventilation challenge" or "how to make yourself pass out", etc. There are tons of videos on YouTube.
