Discussion Note not perfect?

Due to time constraints and other practical reasons, my note will basically resemble a folded up A4 sheet of writing in my pocket. It'll be written hastily too. Wouldn't want it to be discovered at the wrong time, ya know?

It's a shame it won't be nearly as long as I thought it would be. Pages of pages reduced to just a few lines of basically "bitching, pity parties, and 'I just can't go on anymore, I'm out' type of sentiments."

At least it's all tied up in a neat bow, is the saying. Short and straight to the point.

Has anyone else had to change their original plan for their note or its length/contents?

I won't leave a note behind. My family will resent me for killing myself and leaving a note behind will intensify their hate.

Yeah, kind of. I once wanted to write very meaningful long notes to about 10-12 people. Now it'll be just a few and I probably won't say much as most know my struggle and any reasons I offer will just be discounted in their minds.

Tell me about it, they'll likely read my note and just think "pft, drama queen". It sort of makes me then think good thing it's only a short note if no one would really care to read all the details and stuff. As you say.

As horrible as it sounds, if I write a net to friends it won't get to them. My parents wouldn't let them have it. Because of this, mine is mostly 'fuck you, I'm sorry you didn't believe me but I couldn't trust you so oops oh well you fucked up raising your child.'

then again, my note to my friends would be very very different.

But there's always the chance my note may be longer.

Originally I was going to write write a pretty long one and possibly letters to some close friends and a few family members, but now I'm just following an article (https://archive.ashspace.org/ashbusstop.org/Note.html#section-5 if anyone would like to read it) to try and lessen the grieving process. I was going to go into a lot of detail about how I was feeling and talk a lot the good memories I have, but now it's a bit like, 'if they didn't care or understand when I was alive, why would they when I'm dead?' So my note is going to be a lot more emotionless now, I suppose. It's probably for the best, I'm not even sure who really cares for me anymore and I don't want to spend the remainder of my time here writing letters for people who might just laugh and throw them out.

Assuming that I do leave a note for loved ones, it will be brief and short, highlighting my main reasons for going, and some instruments on what to do post-death.
