Venting Nobody There When You Need Them The Most

Sorry for venting

Why is it that when you are at your lowest point, when you need someone the most, there is nobody there?

I just don't understand why people do that. I'm loyal to an extreme, and I always try to be there when I'm needed the most, but when I need someone all I have is the negative thoughts that keep repeating everything that's happened, will happen, and what will never be.

Worst thing is that these people often say they are loyal and always there for others. I can then name a lot of situations where it's just not true.

When you confront them, they start making excuses or gaslight you, that it's your fault for them not being there. It's like they're blind to their own faults.

Totally know where you are coming from. I have tried so very hard to being kind and helpful towards everyone and when I would like to know that someone is in my corner or has my back, POOF! dead silence.

I guess it is, welcome to human nature 101. I have always wondered if being self-centered is part of survival instinct? The good old me, me and me, YIKES!

Please try and remember that you are family here and I consider you a good friend.

Since the 1960's I have put up with, "I sure could use a hug and a listening ear right now" and then turn around a little later and BANG! they are either gone or "too busy".

I try my hardest to remember and feel that I have a purpose in this world and if I get shortchanged in this world, maybe, just maybe, I will get my rewards in the next life.
