I will not have an obituary in the paper nor a Facebook memorial because I detest Facebook and have never participated.

How then will people know I died?

What's the difference between an obituary and death notice?
I've looked into that too but they use words that aren't in my vocabulary and it's confusing to me.

A death notice is usually in the legal section of a newspaper alerting potential creditors that someone has died and gives the name of the executor.

Am obituary gives a bio and is put out by family to memorialize the loved ones.

This is my understanding anyway.

I also detest Fakebook and deleted my account long time ago ( and with it 450 "friends" ), but I still have my website running , and that's where I will post a very short last entry so that people know I am gone.
I would recommend otherwise to send out time delayed emails to the ones you want to inform.
