Help night night with sleeping pills?

planning on catching the bus 11th of january. i've got a hotel and a reasonable excuse to be out of town, all that jazz. i'm planning on buying most of what i need in the city so i don't have to worry about lugging it with me on the trip. it's a simple method, so not too difficult, but i was planning on getting some otc sleeping pills as well to help ensure i stay asleep if possible. i know they won't work well at a standard dose (i'm not taking a standard dose, lol) but i want them for peace of mind, but i don't know if they'd interfere with the actual dying process outside of making me pass out/otherwise incapacitate me if i take them too early. should i just cross them off the list?

if u aint doing normal dose then dont use them, u can get high off alot of sleep aids and not a good high, you will hallucinate spiders everywhere, speaking from experience

welcome to SaSu, I also consider night night as a one way bus, tho I personally don't feel any sleeping pills are needed.

What pills do you think you'll take take?

whatever i can get at a drugstore day of, if anything. probably antihistamines since that seems to be what's most readily available without a prescription, and i don't have time to bother with a prescription.
